Life drawing with a twist. Our models bring props, costumes, and odd setups to push your sketching into strange new territory. Beginners and seasoned artists welcome.
Sun, Oct 12 - Curiosity Boxes: Oddities & Shadowbox Worlds (1-4pm)
Part art, part storytelling, part Victorian science fair. Build your own display piece or miniature world.
Sat, Oct 18 - Intro to Taxidermy: Preserving the Beautifully Strange (1-4pm)
A hands-on introduction to the art of taxidermy. Learn about preservation, mounting, and display while working on a small ethically sourced specimen. Students leave with both a finished piece and a new appreciation for this craft.
Sun, Oct 19 - Cocktails & Cosmos (8-11pm)
Spend the evening learning how to shake, stir, and smoke three unusual drinks — each with cocktail and mocktail versions. Along the way, we’ll step outside to enjoy the night sky, blending hands-on mixology with a little guided stargazing. Raise a glass, then look to the stars.
Sat, Oct 25 - Tarot & Symbolism for the Creatively Curious (1-4pm)
Explore tarot as a tool for storytelling and imagination. We’ll unpack archetypes, imagery, and symbolism, then practice readings.
Sun, Oct 26 - Monsters, Makeup & Mayhem: Halloween Costume Design (1-4pm)
Just in time, learn stage makeup techniques to create bruises, scars, and monsters — then spin those looks into quick, inventive costumes. Perfect for anyone who loves Halloween, theater, or just a good scare.
